Running Windows games with Steam Play on Regata OS
The Steam client has the Steam Play, which allows you to easily run Windows games that are in your library on Regata OS. The feature is already enabled by default for some "officially supported" games, which include QUAKE, Tropico 4, Star Wars: Battlefront 2, DOOM, DOOM VFR, PAYDAY: The Heist, STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl, NieR: Automata, Into The Breach, FINAL FANTASY VI and many others.
To enable the functionality for all games, access the Steam client settings by going to the top menu, clicking on Steam ➞ Settings. In the new window that opens, go to the Steam Play section. Now select the "Enable Steam Play for all other titles" option and click the OK button to save the setting.
It may be necessary to restart the Steam client for the settings to apply correctly. If this is true, you will see a small window on the screen asking you to restart Steam, as in the image below:
With Steam Play enabled for all games available in your library, just install them normally or, if you already have the game installed and saved in another location, as a different HD, just run it and Steam Play will do it all. the rest.
